It was a low-key Valentines day. Mike bought me a beautiful bunch of red roses.
Mike got the raw end of the Valentine’s Day – I gave him Smarties! I got the spoiling. He bought me a cappuccino and croissant in bed this morning. I worked for 6 hours.
We went to the nursery. Thursdays are “pensioner day” so when I need new seed and nectar for the birds, I take my pensioner to the nursery on a Thursday to cash in on the 10% discount! Happy Valentine’s Day sweet birds! I stocked up for you.
We had our obligatory load shedding but with it being down to schedule 2, we only had it once and it was just over two hours from promptly 4pm to 6-05pm. I was supposed to go to gym during it, but David arrived and having him to visit was far more fun.
Valentine’s Day is not for everyone, so when I saw this on FB it’s worth a share…
