Scrambling Around Half Built Houses

Late this afternoon, Julian and I walked up Echo road looking at all the building that is going on. There are a number of half built houses and we went scrambling around them.

There is this house that is being renovated. It literally has had the roof taken off and has been gutted.

View from the gutted living area…

Towards the end of the road there is a new build that is coming on. You still can only enter through the window…

This was Mike at that house on 20th December. It’s massive.

Then there is this newly built house – this was built by our builder Werner. The owners moved in in October 2018.

Julian took this photo of that plot on 3rd December 2017…

On Wed 9th May 2018, I scrambled down the slope below and got the builder’s number from the foreman, whose name is Witness…I pretty much took my life in my hands to get that number. It was very steep and very slippery. But I got Werner’s number and phoned him the same day. A day or two later we met him at our Echo plot and the discussions began. Ten months later and we are in the thick of it.

Building a house on a mountainside can be done. We’ll see how long it takes.

Today has been a more laid back day. Went to gym early, did some work, went to my ladies’ meeting, worked a bit more, scrambled around half built houses, had dinner at Dixies, home and now I’m wrapping up.

Yay! It’s the weekend!

Ephesians 4:7

To each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
