Ramble on the Mountain

Wednesday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day I got quite a lot packed in. I had an appointment in the morning followed by a quick shop. I got home in time for an 11am work meeting. I worked until just after 2pm and then went to the beach, where I spent about an hour in the water. Down side: I got bitten. A bazillion little water miggies. I came home covered with burning bites. I lathered Phenergan ointment all over them. Then I dug out an antihistamine (that expired in 2013) and took that. It soon worked and relieved the intense itching.

I can’t believe this worked so well!

I ended the afternoon by going on a mountain ramble with Julian. There has been some chain saw noise and we decided to go to look. First, looking at gabion baskets.

Then across the mountain watching out for snakes while enjoying the beautiful views…

There is some plot clearing at the start of what should be Gleneagles Rd but we doubt it’s related to the road. Time will tell.

Home, dinner and now Chess is being watched.

Matthew 25:13
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
