Quintessential Fish Hoek

Thursday

Dear Elsie

Today was quite a busy day. Julian was taken up completing the collection of his consignment of books. Mike had some shopping to do and then had to take plumbing pipes back and order others. I worked. I had a few meetings and guests arriving, so was kept on my toes.

David went for a drive and had two visitors, so he had a pretty busy day as well.

While the day was warm today, it was overcast and cooler in the afternoon. Julian and I decided to head for the beach and walk to the little lighthouse and back. I took a few photos of what is quintessential Fish Hoek…

These photos really warm my heart. Fish Hoek is such a special place and we are blessed to live here and have this beach close by.

The cricket today was between Sri Lanka and India – a thoroughly one-sided affair.

We play India on Sunday! 😬 Hopefully we’ll put up more resistance. At the moment the prediction is India will win!

Tomorrow is Friday! Weekend!

Isaiah 33:6
He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
