Progress has been made! The van Niekerk shuffle is a thing of the pass. We are now ‘jawking’. Jawking is jogging as slow as walking. If you ‘jawk’ past a walker you are probably going too fast! We ‘jawked’ 4km in 33 minutes… that’s a ‘jawker’ for you! We had a fabulous ‘jawk’ , followed by an equally fabulous swim in the sea and then came home. We got changed and went out for breakfast. Then we stopped by the Thomas home to see how Pastor John is getting on. He is doing much better. The family were all home (although Vic is missing Candice and Caleb who are back in Canada)…

Back home, the house was nicely organised by Fungai and Granny was dressed and fed! Boswell was mowing the lawn and we were not expected to do anything! This is a good day!
Now we’ve given Granny lunch and right after this blog is posted, I’m going to have an afternoon nap!
This post won’t be complete with me not making a note that my dear friend and mentor Wyn Beale is 90 today! I am thinking of them all celebrating, ‘down under’ and enjoying happy memories of the many conversations and lunches we enjoyed. 90, not out!
