There are things that people believe that are wrong. I’m sure, most times, they don’t know how wrong they are and they are led into all sorts of bad stuff that is wholly against the Bible and takes people on a dangerous journey. When things go wrong for them, they don’t understand why. I pretty much have lived my life in a bubble, completely unexposed to wrong teaching and the New Age, humanistic teaching that seems to be pervading our world more and more.
Today, I was told of a women’s meeting to take place in a couple of weeks time that screams against the Biblical world view. The meeting is taking place on our doorstep, in our community, among us and for that reason, we need to pray.

This is entirely against what I believe, as a Christ-follower. The focus is shifted away from God – from Jesus Christ, through whom we can experience full and complete salvation, if we choose. The New Age Movement is a substitute that leads people along the wide road to destruction. My belief is not the popular one. In the eyes of the New Age Movement, what I believe is far too ‘narrow’.
I believe Jesus Christ is the only Way. He is the truth and through His truth is ultimate Life. There is no other way. Jesus said so Himself, (John 14:16)
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
With the New Age belief system, anything sort of goes. There are so many variations of what those who are New Age believe. From worshipping the elements, to witchcraft, satanic worship, connecting with the dead and mind control. This is what is going to be going on in Kommetjie from 12th to 14th June.
It’s a hotch-potch of ideologies with no fixed foundation, making it being built on shaky ground. What freaks me out even more is that women are so easily sucked into this. As a result they pass on their fantasies and dangerous misled world view to their children.
Please pray against all of it. Pray for those who have been mislead. Pray for their salvation. Pray that the scales will fall from their eyes and they will see the true light.
Isaiah 44:24

There is only one God.
