Monday
Mike was right. He said this virus wouldn’t last and it hasn’t. I spent a day brewing it (Saturday when we went to work on site), a day nursing it (yesterday) and today I’m recovering from it. I haven’t been back to normal today, but I haven’t had a temperature and my nose is not running so definitely on the mend.
Mike went off to the site this morning. I stayed home. Not going to the site and not going to gym left me with lots of work I could do. I’ve worked for about 7.5 hours today. A good start to the week. Although having said that, we are both going down in an hour or so.
David sent me this photo he took while in Egypt. Mike and I in one of the ancient temples…
The priests, I think were in charge of decorating the interiors. It must have taken thousands of hours inscribing all those hieroglyphics. Here is another sample of some of their work.
This was inside one of the tombs in Valley of the Kings…they spared no time or detail on their amazing interior designs…
It’s good to look back and be reminded of what we saw.
Not too much else has happened today.
A good day of recovery.
Isaiah 12:3
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
