That is what is happening right now. Nine tonnes of books (give or take a tonne) have been loaded into a container on a truck. They will spend the night in Cape Town and tomorrow will head north for Johannesburg. A Monday arrival is anticipated.
We started at 8am and got the last of the boxes load by 11-35am.
This was our spare room after 80 boxes had been taken out…
Eventually it looked like this….
And then like this…the last box…
But they had been taken into the garage. These had to be loaded…
…into that there container…
We did it! Julian wheeling down the last box…
Bye-bye books….
#378 of my 1000 thanks is that the final part of the great book move has been accomplished…from our side anyway. For Julian, his final part comes when it arrives in Johannesburg on Monday or Tuesday.
Right now we are grateful. It all went well.
Cape Town Bakkie hire was great and now Milltrans, the transport company has also been fantastic and less expensive than previous containers we have used. The two guys we employed to help us were patient in their long-suffering. We’ll use them again as well.
We are so grateful! #Growing Chapter 1 books!
Psalm 23:6
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
And now to get on with some paid work!
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
