It’s not often that we go to the theatre and it’s because we have had a night out this evening, that the blog is so late. I’m trying to get it out before ‘pumpkin hour!’
As a treat to celebrate Julian’s birthday, the four of us went to…
It was on at the Artscape and tonight was played to a full audience where the average age was probably 60! It was really good hearing some of the familiar old tunes, but there were a lot missing and the show could probably do with a set of slower Beatles ballads thrown in. We really enjoyed it.
#948 of my 1000 thanks is for a night on the town with Mike, Julian and David. It was lovely to visit the city centre at night. It’s looking pretty good. We went to the Cattle Baron on Chiappini Street for dinner. It’s one of my favourites. They have a balcony that overlooks the street and it’s a great place to sit and enjoy a meal, while seeing the world go by.
And now we are home. Julian and David have left and Mike is watching the rugby!
I’m about to turn in for the night!
Psalm 145:16-17
When You open Your hand, You satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in everything He does; He is filled with kindness.
Amen!
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
Gym:
Back to gym I went this morning.
- 35 minutes walking on the treadmill
- 10 minutes cross training
- 20 minutes weight machines/stretches.
It was grueling as I got there at 6-30am and had a workout on an empty stomach and with no coffee!!!! I also had number of aches and pains from yesterday’s horse ride. But the exercise got done!
