NASA Finds Message From God on Mars

This is what I read when I opened my email yesterday.  It all stems from the fact that the Nasa exploration rover, named Curiosity is currently exploring Mars for any form of life. It has not just arrived. It’s been there for almost a year. (http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/mission/overview/). Curiosity looks like this…

Known as the red planet, Mars is smaller than earth but has the same land mass. This photo was taken when Mars was 87 million kilometres from earth. It is no wonder that it took Nasa 9 months to fly Curiosity to the planet. No man has ever set foot on Mars.

So a satiricial news forum (http://dailycurrant.com/2013/07/01/nasa-finds-message-from-god-on-mars/) came up with a bizarre story of how Curiosity had found huge stone tablets with the Ten Commandments written on them in a cave on Mars. The website said it was God sending man a message that He exists.

It is a hoax, people! Curiosity has found no such tablets. The website was making it all up. Don’t believe everything you read, even if it comes from who you consider to be a reliable source.

Those who take the mickey out of the Christian faith are playing with fire.

 Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

Job had wise advise about those who disrespect God:
Job 4:8 As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble, reap it.
Job 13:9 Would it turn out well if He examined you? Could you deceive Him as you might deceive a mortal?

It was Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus who said, ”

No, I doubt God will ever send  messages to Mars. He doesn’t need to. We live daily with  far more obvious signs of His existence. Cast your eye to the sky on a clear summer’s night – try and count the stars. When you next walk on the beach, tally up the grains of sand under your feet alone. Observe the birds of the air and the petals of a flower. Visit the aquarium for a look at the amazing creativity of God. Marvel at the beauty of a rainbow or the magnificence of the ocean – it is all the handiwork of God.

I don’t need any more proof.
