Yesterday when I went to gym, I think I may have overdone it. That combined with the fact that I had run out of magnesium had my heart jumping around in my chest. It was so un-nerving. I spent some time on the internet looking up the palpitation stories of women in menopause and was not disappointed! There are some good remedies and the most effective so far, for me, has been magnesium. Anyway, today, I let it settle and didn’t go to gym.
#770 of my 1000 thanks is that this arrived:
It’s horrendously expensive, but it has really helped me. I notice the difference in my knees and my Achilles tendons. Someone once said it tastes like ‘wet dog’. It is pretty awful but I’ve found the solution to taking it. I heat up orange juice and dissolve 2-3 tablespoons in the OJ. Can’t even taste it then.
Having stocked up on magnesium and rested today (apart from walking around the block) all is quiet on the heart front.
I worked for 5-6 hours today, but I have a load more coming my way. I gave the MD my email password so she could send an email out from my email address asking a whole lot of dormant applicants if they were still interested in looking for a job. The last time I looked my inbox had 35 replies. Yay! More work! There are so many different facets to the job I’m doing, there’s no time to get bored.
Mike and took a walk to the Sun Valley pond which is looking full…
This is looking towards Fish Hoek…
It’s looking lovely. Real paradise for birds. We are so grateful for the rain. The dam levels are 63.5% now.
Right now it’s time for me to wrap up the day and have some down time.
Psalm 18:32
God arms me with strength, and He makes my way perfect.
What a wonderful Bible verse.
These are the days.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
