Monday
Today was the day…
It rained. It came down steadily overnight – more steady than heavy. By morning, we had 8mm. It’s rained most of the day. Heavier winds and rain is forecast for tonight, but we’ll see how accurate that is. It tends to come in squalls. Below all in a matter of minutes.
Here it comes…
By now it’s raining…
Really, it was just a rainy day. No mud on the steps.
I worked. Today, surprisingly, wasn’t as busy as a regular Monday. For eye breaks, I did the washing, dishwasher, and cleaned the kitchen. Mike spent quite some hours in his workshop, completing the gates/doors for the Seaview Apartment entrance. He’s almost done which means Courage can paint them tomorrow.
Today Courage went through the units touching up the woodwork & a whole lot of other indoor stuff.
We heard our ‘as built’ house plans are fully approved. Now to get a permanent occupancy certificate. We have a couple of things still to do to get that.
Julian sleeps tonight in central London!
Bed time.
Psalm 27:5
In the day of trouble he will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
