It’s something we like to do…go mooching about above Echo! The next six or seven months are going to be all-consuming. The build is now front and centre of our minds and conversations and our prayers! Mike stood at the back southern corner of the plot…
From that vantage point, this is what he sees…
It seems it’s going to be impossible until it’s done. Today I read a quote that said – “God is your Source. Everything else is your resource.”
This is the back trench…
While I was up at the top, I realised they had got the stubborn rock out…
This was it before….
It’s a lot of work digging these trenches. There are three altogether. The first one has the basement (we are now calling it the lower ground floor). The next one is the ground floor foundation trench ….
This one is going to see some action soon. The back trench which is the third photo today will carry the two top floors. In less than a month, it is thought the slab for the ground floor will be in place. If so, the next few weeks are going to be quite action packed. It’s going to be a bit of roller coaster and the only thing to do is to try to enjoy the ride and view. Going to the site when there’s no one there and just sitting and looking does slow it all down.
We went out walking today as well…coming back along Ranger Rd.
