Mondays Are Always Busy

Monday

Today was the day…

That was busy. Mondays are always busy, but I had an orthodontist appointment in the middle of it. A number of times, I’ve heard him say, ‘it’s all about symmetry’. They are so particular, so I have to go at their speed and the time it takes for my teeth to move. I was expecting a conversation today, but instead I had a full on visit with much drilling, shaving, filing and wire work. He needed to take one quarter of a mm off a crown. The next visit is on Thursday and we’ll see what he does then. We are creeping to the end.

I drove Mike’s car to the orthodontist visit and decided to come home via Ou Kaapse Weg to the car wash to get it clean. With the wind and it being on the street it had got quite gnarly. I’m not sure if he will notice. He has just taken Courage and Ruth home.

There’s not much else to tell today, except my flowers are looking beautiful. Pretty pink Petunias. Thanks Lenore. They are flourishing…

The wind is having a final blow. After a quietish morning it’s been blowing gales this evening. It’s due to drop overnight. Julian arrives tomorrow and it will be a very windless few days ahead.

Now let me look at Covid numbers.
