Monday
Dear Elsie
It’s the day before your 6th birthday! I am thinking so much about you. When you wake up tomorrow, you will be 6! What a happy day!
As for me, I worked more than 9 hours today so it was a good day. Later in the afternoon, I found Mike and Courage poring over the TV.
Mike and I married in 1986 and for the last 38 years I have consistently admired his ability to fix almost anything – except TVs. This is because way back in the early days he tried to fix an old TV and it just about blew up! Since then, he hasn’t had TVs on his list of things that he can fix. When we returned home from holiday, the TV had acquired some lines…
We have said we need a new TV for a while because this ones sound is so bad, so maybe this is the time. Mike & Courage had a good look inside to see if there was anything obvious. They scrutinised connections to make sure nothing was loose. Then they put it back together but alas, there are still lines. It’s time.
Nothing else to report from today and it is time I got off my computer.
John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
