Making Memories

Thursday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day you and I had tea! I wonder if you will remember this day. When you are older and reading this, let me know if you do. We came through for a few hours  and had a grand time playing in the back garden. You ran and ran and ran (and wore me out). We played ring-a-ring of rosies and you showed me how you rolled down the bank. I showed you how you could climb the tree!

Inside, we watched as you very quickly and smartly put together a tetris kind of block building game. We really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you.

Apart from those memories we made today, last night Mike and I went into the art photo booth and had “Rembrandt” sketch us. I will try to dig out one we did about 14 years ago. This was last nights.

We are now back in Caledon and soon will head for the some more soaking in the water. Last night we spent some time in a few different pools. I also swam 10 lengths and then gingerly got into the cold pool. That was a bone popping experience, but really did my shoulder good.  Tomorrow we go home. And we look forward to it. This is the photo David sent this morning…

Psalm 145:13
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
