This morning the multi-tonne vibrating compactor was right behind our house. The vibrations were crazy, shaking the walls, the windows, the floors and my brain. I couldn’t think, so Mike and I went down to the The Stag, a little coffee shop in Fish Hoek that serves great coffee. I worked there for a while and when I came home the compactor had stopped.
#355 of my 1000 thanks is that the vibrations stopped! I’m not sure when they will start again, but it is now 3pm and peace still reigns!
Mike went and spoke to the site manager and he is going to stop by tomorrow to see the crack in the cottage, so he will see what he says.
So today I have not had caffeine! It’s beginning to bite a bit – I always get a withdrawal headache when I go off coffee. I had a decaf at The Stag, but nothing since. I’ll have tomorrow morning I think. Meantime, today is a big day in the life of Adrian and Stacey as Adrian’s Dad is moving to their town. Today is moving day. They have packed up his house in Steytlerville and are heading back to the Western Cape. Stacey sent me the link to track her….they are at the border where the Eastern Cape meets the Western…
Adrian’s Dad is an avid gardener. He leaves behind an oasis he created…
Ahead is a large blank canvas – over which he can take complete control.
It’s a new season for their family and I am happy for them. They are edging their way to the N2….
I’m pleased to say that the headache pill I took is beginning to kick in and I’m feeling my headache lift! Yay!
1 Chronicles 16:11
Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
