One of the things I was surprised at when I got braces on my top teeth was that it was not nearly as painful as I expected.
Enter bottom teeth braces.
Ow.
My orthodontist is a craftsman of teeth. When I mentioned I hadn’t felt there had been much movement over the last 8 weeks, he said it is very slow. The process overall is going to be slow, so that it doesn’t have to be redone. So for the moment, I’m back to feeling that I have a serious mouth full of metal. Apart from the pain, I’m having to learn to speak without a lisp. Biting is very difficult. I can’t chew. It feels as if there is no upper and lower bite connection. It’s very weird.
I can slurp though.
So I slurped lasagne for dinner.
This afternoon, we took a drive to Echo, where the team are preparing for the drilling and getting the machinery in place. They may start tomorrow.
It’s going to be a very slow process – (like my teeth!) Doing these things properly and safely takes time.
I got in 4 hours of work, but no exercise, which is fine. Tomorrow is another day.
John 15:9
I have loved you even as the Father has loved Me. Remain in My love.
That’s a great place to me. Wrapped in the love of Jesus.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
