I’ve had a very productive day! The Rise and Shine open day was a fabulous ‘all girl’ affair, as far as visitors went. Wayne and Jason enjoyed all the attention! Jason bought his guitar and sang which was a great little extra! Here he is singing on-air…
…and here he is singing with the talented Gina…
Michaela and her mom Julie had to leave immediately, so they missed being in this photo, but I took this one of me with Michaela…
and this is Michaela’s Mom, Julie…
It was really fun having everyone!
After the show, I went home, then went out for breakfast with Mike who has taken the day off. I picked up Adrian’s car license disc and my new drivers licence. I had a little nap and once I’ve posted this I’m going to bake another Christmas cake. đŸ™‚
It was a great surprise this morning to drive to work and find they have lifted the stop/go at Kalk Bay for the Christmas season! Wooo hooo! That made a change to my trip home. I drove straight through! What a treat! Yesterday, not so much! I was there for about 20 minutes. It was worth it though. I encountered “Mr. Gerber” all festively attired…
He tells me he comes from Pretoria. I asked him if he knew Jesus. Pointing to his chest, he replied, “Yes, He is in my heart!” It was so sweet and child-like.
Colossians 2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him.
Believe and receive.
God of my salvation, hear, and help me to believe:
Simply would I now draw near, thy blessings to receive.
Full of guilt, alas I am, but to thy wounds for refuge flee;
Friend of sinners, spotless lamb, thy blood was shed for me. . .

Great advice.
God bless you enormously!
