It’s been a busy weekend, so today has been wonderfully relaxing. Yesterday morning, I went to The Pink Day with Cat-a-list Events Cathi Mole! She asked me a few questions but before she did, I proved that I had my pink on…pink bag, pink toothbrush, pink comb, pink notebook, pink sunglasses, pink scarf, pink water bottle and pink hat and HAIR!
It was great! Stay connected for future events by joining the Facebook page Cat-A-List Events.
I came home to see what’s happening with the tree! We have this massive tree that has grown and grown and grown. Some have described it as one of a number of ‘widow-maker’ trees, because the wood tends to be brittle and when being cut, can suddenly snap and dangerously hit the tree feller. With winter upon us, it’s time for the big tree to be cut back.
It was a much bigger mission than we thought…all these branches…
The ‘fellas’ are coming back on Wednesday, after they’ve voted!
Psalms 52:8
But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever.
Yesterday evening, we went out for dinner with friends. Great food (smoked salmon trout and stirfry with mushrooms). The company was as good! 🙂
Today, I made pork chops for lunch and included a new LCHF ‘salad’ recipe which we actually had slightly warmed. It was delicious! You can see it here.
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
