4-31pm
I have decided that it would be a very civil thing indeed to have a siesta every lunchtime! Today, as soon as I arrived home, I did not (for a change) immediately turn on my netbook and start working! Instead, I got my book (made of paper and with pages! 🙂 ) and lay down on the patio swing to read … then I drifted off into a lovely little sleep…just half an hour…that was all it took. I think the trick here is for me to snooze early…from 1-30pm to 2pm will be perfect! It really changed my afternoon. Instead of dragging myself around in a dopey haze, I actually felt quite energetic! So much so that I included a little baking in my afternoon activities…12
Then I made 6 BIG ones! Nice…Yum!
I’m working completely out of order here as far as photos go! The muffins are the latest! Last night’s sunset was spectacular…here is the view from our bedroom balcony…
It was so so hot and windless, that if it had been a weekend night, I may have been tempted to sleep out there, although I know for sure that I would probably come inside after an hour!
Sunrise this morning, from street level was dramatic. Reports of thunder, lightening, rain and hail came in from all over Cape Town…The rain was very welcome! This is the CCFm balcony view, mid-morning…
I only left CCFm after 12 and went via the shop for the basics. On my way home, I took a couple more pics. The day was spectacular and the sea, like glass. St. James from Boyes Drive…
And so Monday is almost over…another warm and humid summer’s day. I’ve been enjoying sitting outside writing this blog. Mike is now home. Time to feed the family.
Exodus 17:14 says “The the Lord said to Moses, ‘Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered’…”
When God answers prayer, write down the testimony before you forget it. It may not be a scroll you reach for…electronically, you can share it with others…

God bless you!
