Wednesday
Dear Elsie
Today we came home from Wolfkop. The day began with cappuccino on the balcony with lovely light across the mountains. View from the balcony..
We chatted for more than an hour and then just after 8, we had breakfast and started packing up. By 9.30am, the cleaner arrived providing a useful photographer for a group photo. She was very creative…taking all sorts of angles…
It was a really lovely couple of days away. Thank you John and Avril for your warm hospitality.
We had an uneventful trip home.
We arrived home just before 1pm, unpacked, showered and I was in front of my computer by 1.30pm. I worked for 5 hours, had two meetings and caught up with most of my email.
One of the things I was excited about today was getting Flame Lily seeds from Avril. You have no idea of how thrilled I am over these!
I’ve already planted a few of them and will be getting a few more in pots soon. I am really determined to get these growing.
Julian arrived later this afternoon. Dinner was had with lively conversation about world affairs.
Isaiah 25:9
In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him, and He saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in Him; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx
