Home from Swellendam

Sunday

Dear Elsie

Today before I left Swellendam,  you and I had a good time together. We threw the ball to each other, I read to you (Mr Tickle and Mrs Magic) and we had a fun time with Pennie. She has got a lot of energy and loves to chase her tennis ball.

Then at lunchtime, it was time to say goodbye  – we hugged and waved and then headed back to Cape Town. I had such a good time with you. These are some of the photos from last evening’s family walk…

You and your Dad far ahead…

Beautiful Swellendam…

This morning, I went for a short early morning walk. It was misty and cool.

But once the mist lifted it was going to be warm.

On our way home, we stopped in Caledon for coffee and then at Peregrine to pick up pies. Peregrine farm stall has clearly acquired a massive reputation. The place was packed and buzzing with people. We picked up 4 steak pies and went on our way. The trip was uneventful and we arrived home at about 3.45pm.  I had a shower and took a short walk. Dinner has been eaten and now I’m ready for an early night. Perhaps there is time for a Grand Design.

Away for one night – Mike always misses me, but this time it seems, Raiku missed me more!

A good weekend.

Mark 2:10
I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
