Friday
Dear Elsie
Today you and I played with your Duplo and you built a massive double storey house with a pitch roof and a chimney. You also built an impressive very stable stairway going to the second floor. We spent some time together reading the Bible and saying “Onse Vader” and then said goodbye. We got home just after 11am. It was a beautiful day in Cape Town, with a north wind blowing and clearly a lot of fish in the sea.
One of the first things I arranged was for Courage to put up Oupa’s hanging plant. It’s by the front door. I love this one – I think it’s called a String of Pearls Fern. I also bought home a few others which was are planning on using.
During the course of the morning, a fire had broken out above Dixies. The hum of helicopters once reverberated overhead.
With their expertise, it was soon under control.
I worked all afternoon and then this evening we had the family come up for coffee before they all leave tomorrow.
Bed time for me now.
Matthew 4:16
The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
