Friday
Dear Elsie,
Today was a good last working day of the week. We started the day by going to the beach. I try not make too many appointments on a Friday. It leaves the day less busy and I can catch up on any work I wasn’t able to get to in the first 4 days. Besides, last night, I went to bed after midnight because of the late night guest. He arrived perfectly on time with no delays but still on got in at 11.30pm. As a result we woke up a little later and got to the beach at 7.30am. When you look at photos like this, we could be on the Med.
The day did not change. It was warm, sunny and windless. We had after work drinks on the balcony.
Mike bought some of the tasty cheese (he got the same for my birthday) and we had some of that as well. It’s really good. Fish for dinner on the balcony in Fish Hoek.
Listening to the TV reporter talking of the freezing cold weather hitting the UK and seeing reports of snow in Florida, while the sun is shining brightly in Cape Town. It does make me wonder what kind of winter will come our way in June, July & August 2025.
A good solid week.
Psalm 20:4
May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
