Justin Holcomb said, “Good Friday marks the day when wrath and mercy met at the cross. That’s why Good Friday is so dark and so Good.”
Today we were on the road to Hermanus, but in the walking and driving, eating and talking, it was with my mind reflecting that today we remember the death of Christ. He impacts my life, each and every day, so while today is the most important day in the Christian calendar, Christ’s death on the cross changes my behaviour for tomorrow, the next day and the next. O death, where is your sting?
O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light
Our God is not dead
He’s alive! He’s alive!
1 Corinthians 15:55
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
I’m so grateful to be in Hermanus this weekend in the historic Windsor Hotel. Old style, quaint and comfie, our room has a view of note…
Mike & Julian set about having a game of pool…
Have a wonderful Easter.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
