It’s a little over 24 hours away from the opening of the Hillsong, Colour Conference Cape Town and Grandwest is a hive of activity. The whole lay out and what it looks like is hush hush so that it’s a surprise, but I guess I get away with showing you this…

I was amazed at the emptiness of the car park…not for long. This time tomorrow, it will be jam packed…

I went across to check out CCFm’s cubicle and deliver a few things. I’ll be back by about 5pm tomorrow afternoon. The main evening event starts tomorrow at 7-30pm, so there will be plenty of time to meet people at our spot, which is in the far left hand corner of the registration hall. It’s going to be a fantastic weekend. Fully sold out. 5000 women. 6000 people including volunteers.

I’m back from gym & now I must get on with show prep & then dinner prep as I have a hair appointment at 4-30pm.  Mike is always hungry when he gets home.

The Bible verse that jumped out at me this morning during my reading was Luke 14:11. Words of Jesus: “For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” The Amplified Version explains:  ” For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled (that is ranked below others who are honoured or rewarded), and he who humbles himself (that is keeps a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly) will be exalted (elevated in rank).

Keep a modest opinion of oneself. Bottom line: More of Jesus, less of me. More of others, less of me.

Keep on keeping on.
