Friday! And a fun day to remember. 
The show went well and not long after it, I buzzed off home with the intention of making this a significant day. David & I climbed in the car and went on a little trip. We headed for Camps Bay, randomly found parking and went down to the Main Rd to find some breakfast. We found THE right place…
That breakfast special is R30 for ANY breakfast on the menu, so we chose this one…
That’s steak and sausage, bacon and mushrooms with egg and tomato, as well as toast for R30. Coffee was extra, but still an amazingly low price! This is the inside of the restaurant…

The rain came down as we were leaving. We hot-footed it to the car and then headed into Cape Town. I had spoken to Mike on the phone only an hour or two before. He had NO idea we would pitch up at his office with chocolate & jelly babies!

Quite spectacular. He showed us a computer programme that gave us an aerial view of our house…
We spent a happy hour with him and then zooted back through howling wind to the car and headed home! Now THAT’S what you do on Friday 13th! It was a fun jaunt!
