Monday
Today’s the day…
The bath in the cottage got replaced. The plumbers arrived at 10am and are leaving as I speak. Yip, took them 9 hours.
The new bath is in but they had some issues with the washers and had to do a bit of a McGyver to get the taps to stop leaking. I think they will come back tomorrow to finish up. We also need a the builder to do the brickwork. Thank the Lord, seriously that we have house insurance and Mike didn’t have to do it.
I bring to you David’s latest music…Four Foot Criminal. A criminal is something to be afraid of, but a 4-foot one may not be such a threat – or is it? Is the Corona virus just that?
I went to the doctor. I suppose it’s a bit unusual to have a medical piece of news buried in this blog. More than a week ago I felt a nodule kind of thing on my thyroid, so I decided to wait a week and then have it checked. The GP said I need to make an appointment to have an ultrasound to see if it’s an isolated nodule (which would not be good) or if it has a bunch of companions (which would be better). Most thyroid nodules are benign. 5% are cancerous. The doctor said he things there are a number of nodules. So will phone for an appointment tomorrow and venture to the world of hospitals. If I make it a week today, I can go after my orthodontic appointment.
I handed over 24 teachers to other consultants today. Do you know how good that felt?
At Echo, our floor got the cement screed. Tomorrow I should be able to go and take a few photos.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
We definitely need that.
These are the days – we will look back on them that’s for sure.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
