Today was the day…
Ruth came with Courage and she did the cottage clean after the bikers left. They left the place pretty clean. It wasn’t too bad at all. Ruth gave the cottage a deep clean. Next guests arrive on Thursday.
I did all the linen and while I was folding it up, I got this satisfactory feeling of having found my niche. I’ve done quite a lot of different things in my life. Nursing, then selling radio advertising, radio presenting & now I’m in teacher recruitment. All have come with a degree of satisfaction, but none have led me to feel how I felt today. I’ve found my niche! I love being a host of a guesthouse. Airbnb makes it super easy & I really enjoy it. If David’s unit is not rented by next week, it will join my Airbnb dashboard. I took some more photos for Airbnb. These came from the cell phone with the better (wide angle lens) camera! The Airbnb page is just waiting to be published.
There are a few more things before it’s up to scratch & they should get done over the next day or two. Tomorrow, I have someone coming to check it out & I’m waiting for one other person to get back to me. We have to be good stewards of what God has given us.
The wind is howling and forecast to continue through tomorrow. We may get a swim in on Thursday. Friday morning looks okay but the rest of the weekend a bit iffy as far as the wind goes.
