Wednesday
Today was the day…
I walked the plank to see progress being made on my flooring going down. We can’t stand on the tiles right now and they start at the front door so I walked the plank to get in from the balcony…this is the plank…
We thought long and hard about the flooring on our level. We were going to go with the tiles that are on the lower floors…
…but I wanted more of a wood look. We considered laminate but I wanted it in the kitchen and that is never a good place to put laminate. Eventually, we went up the price notch and I got my wood look. Mike got his tile. Good compromise. Now they are being laid. I’m so excited!
There were other things happening at the house. Windows have been opened up and are being prepared for the arrival of the actual windows themselves…upstairs bathroom window
Stairwell window…
And while I was there, a fishing boat went by…
So did a little orange aeroplane, that did a somersault but it was so tiny, you can hardly see it through my camera lens.
Talking of planes, Julian is currently on one and arrives in a little while. Mike is going to be home shortly, so I’d better wrap this up.
Today if he had lived, my Dad would have turned 88. I remember him as a kind, generous and extremely knowledgeable man who may not have always been able to express it, but loved us all very much. His greatest desire for each of us was to know the Lord and he prayed for us all daily.

Hebrews 12:3
Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Don’t lose heart. The best is yet to come.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
