Finally a Day That Caught Up With Me

So I woke up at almost 2am to suddenly think, “I didn’t do my blog yesterday!” Rare as hen’s teeth they are. It was to be a busy day. Mike and I met with Julian and David for breakfast at 8-30am. At 10-30, I went to Riana’s to work. At 12, we had our ladies meeting. I left there at about 1-30pm, did a spot of shopping before getting home for two Skype calls at 2-30 and 3pm. I worked until about 4-30pm before, believe it or not, I vacuumed the house! At 6pm, we went out for dinner. By 8pm, we were home and watched the Open Golf followed by an evening walk around the block.

What was interesting and unexpected about our night walk was that we were about half way when suddenly two fire engines and an emergency vehicle came up behind us. We all moved onto the side-walk to watch them pass, only they didn’t. They stopped right in front of us. I thought they were going to ask us something, but instead, the door of the first fire engine opened and the firemen all descended. They happened to have had a call from the house we were passing at that very moment. The lady of the house was on her front veranda and the emergency seemed very small, so we continued on our way!

On our return we watched a Location, Location, Location. At 10pm, I crawled into bed and fell asleep almost immediately!

Now it’s four hours later and the middle of the night, so this will be short and I will write again tomorrow which is later today!

#363 of my thousand thanks is for full and happy days!

I don’t have to do my blog every day, but I do like to. It keeps me up to date with what’s going on! Life goes by in such a rush, it’s good to stop and pause.

Today at our ladies gathering we watched the final part of a three-part series by Andy Stanley called “Prepared”. It was so good, but one of the verses that came up was this one…(picture from dailyverses.net).

Better hop back into bed!

These are the days!

Keep the smile going!

God bless you
