Fast Friday Blog!

6-46pm

The day has run away with me and if I don’t get my blog down now, it’s not going to happen before the clock strikes midnight!

Today, the sun rose to welcome in another splendid summer’s day…

I enjoyed the Rise & Shine show…lots of interaction. Love my job! How blessed am I!

After the show, I managed to squeeze in music prep before (at about 9-45am)  zipping over the mountain to Bible study with the ladies. I left there just before 12 noon and zipped back over the mountain to CCFm again to interview Lucinda Dooley from Hillsong… all about the B-I-G April COLOUR conference. If you are female, you’re invited!! Go to www.colourconference.com for more details. Let’s get 5000 ladies together for a Friday evening and Saturday jam packed with surprise gifts, fab music, pampering (like mini manicures & massages! ) food, laughter and a life-changing message…  Cape Town 20th to 21st. Start saving now! There’s an early bird special on until end of Feb, so get to the website and reserve your seat! I won’t miss it!

On getting home, I invited Monty over for some human time…he didn’t resist…

I dewormed him and gave him a Bob Martins. Poor Gizmo (remember neighbour’s cat?) He sauntered across the patio in front of where we were sitting (Monty and Me!). Monty was wary but just watched… until Gizmo had the audacity to meander over to Monty’s food. A skirmish followed! Gizmo, not up to confrontation retreated, but only a little way away. He then sat under a tree and snootily and scornfully pondered the situation before hopping over the fence and going home!

Dinner = chicken burgers with home grown tomatoes…

Tonight, in a very short while, we will be leaving to go and see The Iron Lady!  I hear it’s brilliant!

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

Loyalty is important to God, but then LOOK what you get!

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
