Saturday
We had a bit of a lie in this morning. Before we knew it David had arrived, dropping off Julian. We got up, got dressed and went out for breakfast. This was the breakfast view….Blue Water Cafe, Imhoff,
After breakfast, we dropped Mike home and I took Julian to the airport. I got home at about 12-30pm, had a bit of a rest and then headed to Echo so Mike could take some measurements. He bought a CAD package and is intent on doing some plans for development of the entrance. The main reason for him doing this now is because the neighbour on the right of us is in Germany and visiting mid November. He wants something to show him when he comes because we are hoping (expecting?) him to come in with us for the building of the funicular. The funicular is planned to start a few feet behind where Mike is standing…
And there is a lot to be excavated for both parking and the funicular, including all of this…
The stairs are finished. This is looking down from the top one. There are currently 82 steps from the road to the top…
Quite a thing! I took a video to show the terrain of the plot as it stands now…
Exciting times ahead.
I had a lovely chat with Stacey this evening. I’m looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks time. 🙂 And soon, I’ll be writing about David’s plans for next year.
It’s been a bit of a struggle getting today’s blog up. The internet has been dropping all evening. It’s taken me an hour but it’s done!
Psalm 32:5
I confessed all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And You forgave me! All my guilt is gone.”
The freedom we have in following the Lord.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
