Last night we had a wonderful last dinner on board with our fellow passengers Paul and Wendy. Also in this photo are the two amazing guys that served us, Umah and Matthew…
Afterwards we went to the final entertainment production entitled Take a Bow…it was fabulous…
Early this morning, I woke and took a look out the window of Cabin 1107 on the MSC Sinfonia! It was pre-dawn and the lights of Durban twinkled in the distance. We were nearly home. After 23 absolutely blissful nights at sea, travelling in luxury on a ship equipped with all the modern technology of the 21st century, we were about to dock in the bustling city of Durban…the early morning came and we went up on deck to take some photos…
Sunrise over the ship….
And this is where the good ship Sinfonia is docked, waiting for the couple of thousand people to board for a four night cruise to the Portuguese Islands…
The disembarkation process went smoothly and soon we were on the bus to the airport. We have arrived and in about an hour we fly home to Cape Town.
This morning, I had difficulty not becoming emotional. Everything had been so wonderful. We really can not complain about the service, the comfort, the entertainment or the food on board. We had the most wonderful time and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
#462 of my 1000 thanks is that everything has gone so smoothly – plain sailing and no sickness. 23 wonderful nights. So very grateful.
Psalm 13:6
I will sing to the LORD because He is good to me.
And now, it’s back to normality. Back to reality. It’s back to responsibility. But first a two-hour flight in a little orange plain.
These are the days!
Keep the smile going!
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
