December 2011 has arrived & so the Christmas season begins. I love this time of the year, although I am acutely aware that for some it is a time to dread. I can’t help though, in this season of my life, to feel a little air of excitement and anticipation as Christmas draws closer. It feels as if I’m on a roller coaster slowly going up to the top; then as the last couple of days before Christmas arrive you pass the highest point and go hurtling down the other side…. landing suddenly on Boxing Day and it’s all over! The ride is a lot of fun though…for most people…
This is a randomly selected internet photo!
Christmas on a budget this year will be a stretch. Check the price of lamb…
That’s R94-99 per kilo! Ouch!
The day began with rain and thunder and cloud, making for a spectacular sunrise…
After the show I did music prep and met with Robyn and had a bite at Casa Labia…
A healthy bite…that’s yoghurt in the middle! It was really good!
Dinner is done. Mike is deep in conversation with David about his upcoming road/cycling trip to Sutherland. Lots of planning being done. He leaves on Monday for what is the Karoo! But he (and I) need not be concerned…
Isaiah 43:19 – God says: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland”.
The Lord will go with him.
In His grip, 🙂
