4-18pm
A good play on words for today’s title! David came into the studio this morning, in place of Jack. Jack, we are doing backflips over, as he has got into UCT and went off to orientation this morning. David came into the studio as what he describes as ‘the SMS guy!’….here he is updating himself with the news…
The other highlight of the day was the arrival of Jonathan, our new programme manager. We met at noon so he could address the CCFm staff…
And here is our Station Manager, Elmo Johannes welcoming him…
It is great to have Jonathan. I hope his stay with CCFm will be long and fruitful!
I have been reading through Exodus. One of the things that struck me was the age of Moses when he went to speak to Pharaoh.
Exodus 7:7 Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.
Don’t ever believe that you are too old to be called by God. He can use you, whatever your age. Sometimes, when Granny & I are eating alone and I say ‘grace’, she also tries to pray. She mumbles incoherently and nothing she says I can understand. But God does! He knows her thoughts and He knows her heart. She is pleasing to God in her fragile state, simply because of her humility and her desire to speak to Him. She remains an example to me.
Off to boil the pasta!
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
