The newborn look is giving way to absolute cuteness overload…two days old…
Elsie is well and so is Stacey. Everything is falling into place and tomorrow God willing, we will go to Adrian and Stacey’s home where Mike and I will hang out for a couple more nights. The hospital does quite a cool thing. The night before the Mom and Babe go home, they send the Mom and Dad down to the restaurant for a complimentary meal while the nursery looks after the baby. Adrian and Stacey’s very first date-night as parents! So cool. Stacey has been very generous in being sure I get a load of cuddles…
On my shoulder…this is very much the ‘full tummy’ look.
Mike had a turn as well…proud Grandpa.
There are people who have followed my life since I was in my teens. My beloved Aunty Wyn is one of those people. She absolutely loved Stacey and David and has followed their progress as much as she could. Now she is living out her very advanced years in Sydney, Australia where she turned 95 in November last year. Soon after Elsie was born, I sent Rowena (Aunty Wyn’s daughter) a message and photo to please pass the news on to her Mom. Rowena did and then took a photo of Aunty Wyn’s response…this so warmed my heart.
#669 of my 1000 thanks is for precious Aunty Wyn. I love her so much. What a blessing. I pray this on her behalf…
