I’m supposed to be having an afternoon nap, but I’m too excited to sleep! Something BIG is happening in Cape Town this weekend and it’s called the COLOUR CONFERENCE…the biggest woman’s conference Cape Town has ever seen! 1000s of women gathering at one venue to have fun together, worship together, learn together, be pampered and get to know each other. I’m looking forward to leaving in a few hours time. Last time I was this excited was when I went on the cruise to Durban back in January! 🙂
I had a fine Friday Rise and Shine show this morning. Yesterday at breakfast with Mike as I was looking out the window of the cafe, I noticed a sign at a take-a-way vendor. I looked a little harder and then said ‘HA! Boerewors has 9 letters! That is such a good word for tomorrow!’ Wow, it was better than I thought! The sms line buzzed with response….probably more than 100 smsses came in for BOEREWORS alone! Who would have believed it. With all that talk of the meaty treat, I went to buy some for wors rolls for supper…

After the show, it was off to my regular Friday Bible study, where we gathered to hear a DVD by Andy Stanley on Worry. Brilliant. Click here to watch it for yourself…
