Colour Conference 2014

1-48pm

I’m off to the Colour Conference this evening – which should be GREAT! I went to Grand West yesterday to get our wrist bands and put a couple of things at our stand….look out for it amongst the displays in the Pamper Zone…

CCFm standThe whole Marquee has been transformed…you’ll see the finished product…yesterday it was under construction…

Colour set upExciting times! Talking of Conferences…the Beauty for Ashes Conference is up in Johannesburg in May. Aldyth, one of the organisers asked me to write a blog for their website. Here’s the URL for you to copy and paste…

This morning, I needed to go into Cape Town for an unexpected visit. The City Centre is looking so clean…

Nice clean city centreSomeone put out rice and bird seed and hundreds of pigeons gathered…

100 pigeonsI had cappuccino at an appropriately named restaurant…

Birds RestaurantAround the corner was a well known international clothing store with international prices to match. How expensive can it get? Take ladies’ socks? R80 for a pair? Okay, let’s be extravagant…R150 for a pair?

Ladies socksThey must be special, special socks! Winter is coming. Perhaps you’ll like this cardigan…

CardiganR2500…I think I’ll pass! I think they are brilliant quality, but with me and my clumsiness, I wouldn’t want to be the owner of such a lovely garment…this morning I spilled beetroot juice on my shirt!

Today in my Bible reading I encountered an ‘old favourite’.

Have you been longing for something that just doesn’t seem to be coming to pass? Don’t give up!

Luke 11 vss 9 & 10 – in the words of Jesus:

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks the door will be opened.”

If you have been seeking, asking, knocking and have not yet got your answer, your journey is not over. God has a plan for you far greater than you can ever imagine. He will not let you down. His timing is often not our timing. So don’t stop asking. You will receive & the longer the wait, the more joyous you will be when the answer comes.

God bless you richly today!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

PS. Tomorrow’s blog is likely to be very late. I’ve got to be at the CCFm Diabetes Day at 8am, then Mike tees off at lunchtime, so it’s an afternoon of golf. Don’t expect anything before 8pm tomorrow night!

Happiness/Gratitude Pic…after just about 12 months of planning, here comes Colour!
