Cement Day!

Monday

Today, the pump rolled up …

And the pipes were put in place…

The cement arrived an hour or two later. They had some major issues with the consistency of the cement and the flow through the pipes but eventually they got started…

We walked behind the neighbour’s houses to get down to the road again via different steps. As we walked, we caught sight of the house beginning to rise above the trees….

Later we came back and it was all done!

The back…

We are so happy it’s done. Now it sets for a while. Werner is going away for two weeks but his foreman and a couple of other workers will be on site this week.

Today, I have lacked energy. I think the sun got to me a bit yesterday and I was tired and lethargic. But there was no time to stop. My inbox bulging and pinging regularly, I had to work – I managed just under 8 hours and got it down to 5 by the time we left to see the finished slab. It’s now back up to 21. I may even have to do some more work this evening. It’s good to keep busy!

John 15:16

You didn’t choose Me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using My name.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
