There is a busy week ahead, so today I’ve spent some time relaxing, preparing and walking. I went and caddied 9 holes at Clovelly with Mike, which was very enjoyable. Despite the drought, the course is looking very green and lush. The ponds are all very low, so like, everyone else, they are hoping for rain soon.
So Monday I fly to Johannesburg, Tuesday I fly home, Wednesday I fly to Durban. Thursday I fly home. I think by the time Thursday evening arrives, I will be on the tired side! I think the trick is to sleep well and plan meals so that I don’t go hungry.
Last night we went to friends for dinner and the sun was setting. It was majestic. The skies proclaimed the work of God’s hands…
What an amazing display of God’s creation.
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.
You can’t deny that! Dinner and friendship was great too!
#299 of my 1000 thanks is for a gentle relaxing day that has allowed me the opportunity to be ready for the week ahead. 🙂
Short blog.
These are the days!
Keep the smile going!
God bless you!
In His Grip,
