Do they call them Old Age Homes? They did when I was young! I’ve bought Granny along to Nerina Gardens whereย a few dozen elderly folk have gathered for an hour of delightful classical music courtesy of David!ย There are two men in the audience, make that three, one of the workers has arrived as well. Jack is moral support and photographer! I love that these older people are going to really appreciate this beautiful classical music. I would take a photo, but they have dimmed the lights and just put a spotlight on David which gives lovely ambiance. I’ll see if I can persuade the photographer to part with some of his photos! ๐ David has begun, so I’m blogging to the sounds of classical guitar,ย in a Fish Hoek retirement home! (That sounds better!)
It’s been a rainy day in Cape Town….this was misty Muizenberg, mid-morning…
I hung out on the CCFm balcony for a short while, enjoying the freshness of a little drizzle…looking towards Fish Hoek…
I love this view of Muizenberg Mountain, with the Park in the foreground…
I did show prep for tomorrow and music for Monday. Then I called a few advertisers and have lined up a couple of meetings for next week. Very happy about that!
David is about half way through his performance and playing very well. Not too much stress in this environment! ๐ It’s very relaxing.
With the rain, soup is on the menu for tonight with ham rolls and some still-warm-when-bought ‘artisan’s’ onion & herb bread which looked, smelt and felt really good! I should have taken a photo. I’ll have one for tomorrow!
Psalm 57:2-3 says, “I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills His purpose for me. He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me; God sends His love & faithfulness.”
Don’t ever forget that! God sends His love & faithfulness!
In His Grip,
