This is a bonanza birthday week, with it being Mike’s birthday tomorrow, David’s 21st birthday on Thursday and his 21st party on Saturday!
So I am in birthday mode. Today, after the show I did a lot of music prep before heading off to buy 30 muffins for Mike’s office staff for tomorrow. I then went to sort out Mike’s birthday present. This year, I am giving him CASH! I saved and saved and saved and drew it out today and he will get it before I leave for CCFm early tomorrow! He knows I’m giving him money….in fact he’s already spent half of it. That was the arrangement when we discussed it a month ago. Mike doesn’t like surprises. What he doesn’t know is that I have written on the envelop that what he has already bought doesn’t count! He has to start from scratch!! That will surprise him! What will also surprise him is the weekend away I’ve arranged for us next month. The place we are going to is one of his favourites. I will give him that when we have our family dinner tomorrow evening! I also ordered the meat for David’s 21st so that’s sorted.
Here I am at my desk early this morning…. I put the camera timer on and took it that way…
When I put the timer on, I accidentally clicked a smaller pixel setting, so the photos are all smaller! Tomorrow’s will be back to normal! The sunrise was spectacular…
And the day turned out to be sunny and hot…
Monty the cat is doing well. We’ve settled into a comfortable routine of eating, pampering and sleeping. He still sleeps outside – his own request. But when he’s hungry, he knows where to come. His coat is much silkier and he’s gained weight! 🙂
Time now to wrap up for the day, pack breakfast, put Granny to bed and have some chill time.
Galatians 5:13 says “For you were called to freedom brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another”.
