Not good vibrations, I may add. Just big ones. I walked in at lunchtime after being out for an hour or so to find the house vibrating. Everything was shuddering just ever so slightly…here’s why…
This massive steam roller with some sort of compactor inside was rolling up and down behind us compacting the ground. The vibrations carried right through our home and my head! Eventually, the guy went home, but it was a few hours of shake, rattle and rolling!
And being Friday, hopefully he won’t be back tomorrow.
So our new entertainment is Google stalking David…he’s past this point now, having spent the night in a back garden in Barrydale! 🙂
He checked in with us and said today was a whole lot better than yesterday. I’m glad about that!
So today I did a few things that have been on my to-do list. I went to Simon’s Town for four things.
- Pay the two traffic fines – I went to have them reduced, but they said they don’t reduce them on first notice and I have to wait for a summons. The traffic fines were for me speeding and Julian speeding!
- I had to pick up paper work from my accountant. That has been waiting for a year!
- I had coffee with Karin, Riana and Leanne!
- On the way out of Simon’s Town I dropped a bag of clothes at Hidden Treasures for them to sell to make money for good causes.
#349 of my 1000 thanks is for 75% success today! That’s an A in my book!
I saw this on one the teacher applicants whatsapp profiles:
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
That’s true!
Julian has arrived and we are going walking, so I had better be off!
These are the days!
Keep the smile going!
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
