Today has definitely been a better day. Look what I read in Isaiah. Just reading along and wondering why I’m reading all of this prophecy and not understanding what it all means and then suddenly, “What?” I say to Mike, “You’ll never believe what I’ve just read!” I start reading it to him and he also is just wondering where this is going and then I get to the end and he is as amazed as I.
It’s Isaiah 17:13 & 14
Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when He rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale.
In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone! This is the portion of those who loot us, the lot of those who plunder us.
That woke me up!
It is God’s Word to me. He is in control. He sees.
We trust Him!
I was mad at myself this morning because the piano tuner was coming to tune David’s piano and I thought it was 10-30am he was coming. Meanwhile it was 10 and we only got home from breakfasting with Julian at 10-15, so missed him. I was so mad at myself. Anyway, he managed to fit us in this afternoon and now, as I type, he is ping, pong, piing, pin, piiing, bonnng on the piano get it into some sort of tune! Here is a good old favourite photo of Granny picking out a tune in 2012.
Here’s another who enjoys the piano in her own way…
#418 of my 1000 thanks is that the piano got tuned! Yay!
The countdown has begun! We leave for our holiday in a couple of weeks. I’ve been out doing training with Riana who will stand in for me and I’ve started planning on what to take. Less is better!
These are the days!
Keep the smile going!
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
