It is such a beautiful day in Cape Town today. There’s hardly any wind so my friend/personal trainer Melanie decided to have our last gym work out at Noordhoek Beach.
This is from the top of the steps…worth the hike up…
The beach was so still… not much wind at all…
Exercising here is great…
Get those legs up…
Squats on a rock…
What a treat.
#133 of my 1000 thanks for beautiful days and beach workouts AND sushi with friends.
Boom! That’s a good day!
We recently got a fig tree and it has been growing nicely. We have put it in a large pot and it has blossomed with a number of figs already developing. Whenever I water it, I am reminded of the verse I read this morning.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls, yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.…
Right now the fig tree is blossoming and there is fruit on our vine, but there may come a hard time in our lives and when that happens, I must also call this verse to mind and be sure to exult in the Lord, to rejoice in the God of my salvation. When we praise the Lord in difficult times, we are expressing our trust in Him.
In good times and hard times, I will trust the Lord.
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
