Wednesday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day you went back to school and into the Lion’s class which is very exciting for you. For us it was off to the beach first. We went a little later than usual. It was lovely and flat and I enjoyed the swim. One day my Elsie kind you will join me on such a day as this…
Home for breakfast and then I worked for just under 8 hours. Julian arrived at lunchtime and so after work, we went for a walk to the end of the road and back and then along the mountainside back to our house. To get to our property we need to go under a fence. It’s a bit awkward. First I sit down. Then I look for rocks on which to lean so my hands don’t get too dirty…there are plenty to choose from…
Then I lift myself up and get my body as far under the fence as I can…
Before my final Pilates move that gets me to the other side! Awkward to say the least.
But one day there will be a gate!
We had a leisurely dinner – Mike made a marvellous spaghetti bolognaise and we watched the first episode of the latest season of the Crown.
Bedtime now.
Psalm 18:1
I love you, Lord, my strength.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
