Sunday
Dear Elsie
Today we saw some amazing beach art at Fish Hoek beach. You would have loved it. I had seen a few photos on Facebook and walked past today and saw some more.
Such a lot of amazing detail.
Meanwhile, the cat walk has an amazing display of flowers.
This afternoon Wimbledon Men’s final has dominated our time, with Djokovic taking on Alcaraz in an epic final which is not over yet. Alcaraz leads 2 sets to 1, but Djokovic is resilient and has every potential to come back to win. It’s an exciting match, that’s for sure.
Today, I let the cats explore the inside stairs and I also gave them the opportunity to go out on the balcony. This I am uncertain about because of the sheer drop to the front (3 storeys) and on the side balcony, there is a one storey drop and a potential to leap across to the main entry courtyard. Claw’d was not interested. He didn’t like the cold or the wind and spent a about 30 seconds before retreating inside. Raiku was more adventurous and dashed round the balcony and had a good look towards the main entrance gauging the distance and looking to see if a jump was a possibility. I didn’t let him entertain the thought for longer than a few seconds. We can try again tomorrow.
They spent most of the day chilling in Mike’s office. A short while ago, they woke up and Claw’d decided David’s lap was a comfortable spot.
I’m ready for the new week.
Psalm 135:6
The Lord does whatever pleases Him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx
