So the building may take a bit longer to get up…but today we got this SMS which is a very good thing…
What exactly that means, we have no idea but anything referred for clearance sounds positive. Maybe they have referred our application for departures to clearance. That’s what we are guessing because that’s what the plans lady has told us. I can’t imagine that getting departures will take less than three months so we have to reduce expectations and hope for a Spring build. I’ve always suggested we will be in by Easter next year. We’ll see!
Talking of builds, one of the things I didn’t mention in yesterday’s blog was the build we did in our own back yard. Granny’s Cottage was built in 2002.
Then some years later, the neighbours built a massive extension…
The whole area has developed. It was really fun for Mike and I to look at our old photos yesterday. So many memories and history wrapped up on this property. Time will pass. Our crazy mountainside house will get built and who knows, we may have a decade or two to enjoy it before we get too old to manage the steps. Then we may move back here – possibly even into the little cottage we built for Granny.
Today has been a complete free day. Free to work. Free to not walk. Free to not go to gym. Free to not count steps. Just take a complete break from anything I usually have to do, except work. So work I did. I took my fitness watch off.
Tomorrow, I hope to take some time off work.
2 Peter 1:20-21
No prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. Prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
That’s one of the reasons why I believe the Bible.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
